So the hippies have been singing “age of Aquarius” and touting some astrological movement when it seems that the real dawning of the Age of Aquarius is on Dec 21, 2020.
That is now bitches, not the 60’s, 70’s … but NOW!

“Astrologers believe that an astrological age affects humanity, possibly by influencing the rise and fall of civilizations or cultural tendencies.
Traditionally, Aquarius is associated with electricity, computers, flight, democracy, freedom, humanitarianism, idealism, modernization, astrology, nervous disorders, rebellion, nonconformity, philanthropy, veracity, perseverance, humanity, and irresolution.[6][7]"
That sounds like now, doesn’t it?
We are all going through many changes
and we don’t know where anything is headed.
People have gone nuts.
Leaders don’t seem to have our backs and
the world is burning!!! Literally.
Of course, all this would add to our “nervous disorders”
but so are “perseverance and philanthropy” mentioned above in wiki.
Now is the time of Aquarius where our eyes are woke and
reality slaps us in our face so we have to make a decision - yay or nay.
We see through our individual lens and with varied perspectives.
We all lead different lives and sadly, our lives we tread vary greatly by color and class.
What is important to me might not be as important to another
because our realities have veered in very different directions, my friends.
I will be honest and this will get me in trouble.
“Rebellion and nonconformity” mentioned above is what “MILFriend” is
and has had difficulties because of it.
After all, we are a comedy with an ethnic voice that makes fun of Karens.
Hollywood and our media continue to promote the one perspective.
And yes, things seem to be changing but with what limits?
The limit my friends is when a POC makes fun of Karens.
It’s ok to make fun of us but how dare the lowly make fun of the superior.
“MILFriend” does not fit a tiny mold set out for us by the system
so we decided to fajita the system.
We are doing it ourselves.
Yes, I know.
I have folks telling us to do it this way and that.
Get it validated by putting in on a platform etc. but validated by whom?
Let’s think for a moment.
Do we really need that validation so we could be Goop?
Fuck Goop.
And time, my friends, has been wasted when “MILFriend”
has been in the can for over a year.
We all know in marketing 101, Mona Lisa was not a gorgeous beautiful painting but it was all just a marketing ploy to make you think it was a hot commodity when in reality, it’s just a portrait.
Do we really care if she was smiling or frowning?
I don’t.
We are savvy consumers of goods and content now.
We get it. We are not dumb.
I will trust the audience to be the judge and validate the show as it pertains to them.
Growing up in America, I was constantly wondering why I couldn’t be like the girls in the magazines and the movies. White.
And working in the industry for decades in advertising as a talent, I continued to think why can’t I be the white girl that is desired by all and not just a hired help or the friend.
And now, I wonder, why don’t I get the same opportunities as even white woman to be able to tell my stories?
Life is short. We all know it now.
I’m tired of trying to find the answer.
So let’s try to live today for what it has to offer,
at least that is what I tell myself.
Value the important things in life like laughter!

and live through this age of Aquarius with laughter.
Cause the real dawning of the “Age of Aquarius” has been crazy nutso.
Maybe because we are replacing the orgies and drugs with keto and 6 feet!
